Medicaid

Macomb Emergency Dental Clinic is one of the few emergency dental providers in Macomb County that accepts Medicaid. If you have a Medicaid card, bring it to your visit. We accept it for nearly all emergency services including exams, X-rays, extractions, fillings, and more. No referral is required to see us.

Medicare (via Medicare Compare USA)

We accept Medicare through Medicare Compare USA. Traditional Medicare has limited dental coverage, but many Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits. Bring your Medicare card and any supplemental insurance cards to your visit.

Delta Dental

One of the largest dental insurance networks in the country. We accept Delta Dental plans and submit claims directly on your behalf.

Do you really accept Medicaid for emergencies?

Yes. Many patients are surprised to learn there is an emergency dental clinic that actually takes Medicaid. We do, for nearly all our services.

What if I do not have insurance at all?

We will give you a clear, written estimate before any treatment begins, and we offer CareCredit financing to spread the cost over monthly payments. Our pricing is also publicly posted so you can budget in advance.

Will my insurance cover the full cost?

It depends on your plan, deductible, and annual maximum. We verify benefits before your visit whenever possible and tell you exactly what your out-of-pocket portion will be.

Can I pay in installments without CareCredit?

For most cases, CareCredit is our preferred way to handle installment payments because it protects both you and the clinic.Ask at the front desk.

Do you file claims for me?

Yes. We submit insurance claims directly on your behalf so you do not have to deal with paperwork.

What if my dental insurance company says they do not cover emergencies?

Most dental insurance plans cover emergency exams, diagnostic X-rays, and at least some emergency treatment. The wording varies, which is why we verify benefits for you in advance. Even if coverage is limited, we can almost always work with CareCredit.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we welcome walk-in patients during our normal business hours. We do our best tosee you as quickly as possible.
